S.G. Carlyle

About S.G.

S.G. Carlyle is a poet and writer from all over, with roots in New England, South Carolina, and Chicago. He believes that the goal of writing is to use language that will fail to capture the world, but to fail beautifully.

He has two collections of poetry; Condor, which was self-published via a successful Kickstarter in 2014, and A Home for Teeth, which is in development.

His contribution to A Migration of Monsters is titled Garnets & Oranges and is a story of a woman who is in total control of herself fighting against a world which has gone out of control. Fuchsia Morgan, an amateur witch, gathers a coven and makes a stand against the monsters that have come to eat her magic.
